Stay Connected, Stay Involved

Austin Friars School has always had a strong community ethos. This is made possible by the ongoing support of our parents, alumni and wider friends of the school.

We are proud that many former pupils, parents and staff stay connected with Friars long after they have left the school.

There are lots of ways you can be involved with Friars. We are always keen to explore ways to work with former pupils and the wider community to enrich our pupils' learning. If you have an area of expertise or experience you could share with pupils, please do get in touch.

A fomer pupil recently took an assembly in school about the Student Ambassador role she is doing with the charity The Oddball Foundation.

Opportunities to get involved include:

  • Mentoring a current or former pupil starting out on their career
  • Visiting the school to share experiences and expertise with students
  • Fundraising for development projects
  • Donating to the school
  • Attending school reunions and alumni events
  • Networking with other former pupils
  • Contributing to Caritas Magazine

If you are able to help mentor a current pupil, share your experiences or expertise or get involved in any other area of school life, we would love to hear from you  – please call 01228 550751 or email afa@austinfriars.co.uk
