Here at Friends of Friars, we are a community of parents offering a friendly welcome to all! We endorse the school’s Augustinian Values and incorporate these in our meet ups and fundraising events.

We consist of a committee and a group of volunteers who are proud to support the children and the school. Friends of Friars is an addition to the school community, supplementing our children’s learning and growth, complementing their time at Austin Friars.

Friends of Friars is inclusive to all parents - if you are looking for an opportunity to enhance your school experience, Friends of Friars is a fantastic way to be involved and meet other parents, helping you feel rooted within the school community.

Our fundraising has allowed us to contribute to events such as fireworks display, financing sports equipment and clothing, entry fees into extra curriculum school competitions, leavers Ball, cultural performance and workshops, Christmas crafts events and distribution of gifts to all the children.

Uniform Shop

The School operates a pre-loved uniform shop operated by volunteers.

The shop is usually open on Wednesday mornings during term time from 08:45 to 09:15 and is located on the upper floor of Villa Nova building (next to Forest School).

If you are unable to visit during these times, orders can be places by emailing uniformshop@austinfriars.co.uk and will be left at the appropriate reception.

Summer holiday opening can be arranged by appointment.

Uniform Donations

If you have any uniform that is no longer required, donations can be made directly to the shop or via school receptions.
